Cora Stivers 85 of 4th Ave in Clay City widow of Tom Stivers passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Clark Regional Medical Center. She was a housewife and a member of the Powell's Valley Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter Patricia Ann Pritchard of Clay City, two grandchildren Paula and her life partner Jeff Farkas of Lexington, Tommy Pritchard and his wife Vickie of Mt. Sterling, three great grandchildren Caitlin Pritchard of Mt. Sterling, Corey Pritchard and his wife Laura of Clearfield and Erin Hayes of Winchester. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Stivers, one brother Lloyd Todd, four sisters Virginia Seale, Grace Hall, Hazel Powell and Minnie Bell Miller. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday, August 11, 2014 at the Powell's Valley Baptist Church. Friends may visit Monday from 12 PM till time of the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Powell's Valley Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
