Edwina Benningfield 52 of Clay City passed away at her residence. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her mother Mary Cavins of Winchester, her partner John Strange of Clay City, one daughter Jennifer Shephard of Clay City, two grandchildren Kayla Shephard of Clay City, Devin Morris of Clay City, one Brother Edward "Glen" Combs of Winchester and one sister Cynthia Campbell of Midway. She was preceded in death by her father Howard Combs and a husband Michael Benningfield. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at The Grayson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Johnnie Hurt officiating. Friends may visit 11 AM till time of the service Wednesday. Burial will be in the Benningfield Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
