Gary Lee Short 79 of Irvine passed away at his residence Monday, May 6, 2024. He was born March 24, 1945 in Springfield, Ohio to Carl and Margaret Short. He was a truck driver. He is survived, a son Brian Short (Rebecca Wehelm), two grandchildren Kailey and Cortney Short, one great grandchild, special niece and nephew Susan and Vendell Gilbert, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend Carlyon Crank. He was preceded in death by his parents, his ex-wife Mima (Julie) Short, three brothers Donald Short, James Short, Richard Short and a sister Evelyn Mowery. Funeral services will be held 2PM Thursday, May 9, 2024 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Irvine with Bro. Vendell Gilbert and Bro David Hager officiating. Friends may visit Thursday from 12 PM till time of the service. Burial will be in the Estes Cemetery in Irvine. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
