James Banks 53 of Clay City passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a former Rumpke employee. He is survived by his mother Mary Sheffield of Stanton, three daughters Christian Church of Salt Lick, Stacy Wiseman of Owingsville, Paula Wiseman of Owingsville, five brothers Shelby Banks of Stanton, Logan Banks of Stanton, William Banks of Clay City, Greg Banks of Cynthiana, Anthony Banks of Cynthiana, one sister Mattie Banks of Stanton and, four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father Shelby Banks, wife Shirley Banks and one sister Phyllis Nolan. Funeral Services will be held 1PM Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Rogers officiating. Friends may visit 11 AM till time of service. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
