James D. Jenkins, 57, of Irvine, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026. He was born on September 23, 1968, in Richmond to James and Myrtle Jenkins. He was an employee of the Army Depot. James is survived by his partner Anida Jenkins, two sons Justin Farthing, Mathew Farthing, a daughter Shannon Jenkins, seven grandchildren, a brother Daniel Jenkins and a sister Lisa Horn Alcorn. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Myrtle Jenkins. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Irvine. Friends may visit on Saturday from 11 AM till time of the service. Burial will be in the Joe Miller Cemetery on Red Lick. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
