Jason McCandless 40 of Clay City passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from a motorcycle accident. He was born January 27, 1984 in Louisville to Gary McCandless and Paula Wright. He was a employee at IGA in Clay City. He is survived by his mother Paula Wright, two brothers Michael Lewis, Daniel McCandless, a sister Heather Elam, a nephew Cody Bellamy , a niece Alexandra Spencer and his faithful companion Red. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Monday September 2, 2024 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Clay City with Bro. Donald Wayne Hale officiating. Friends may visit Monday from 11AM till time of the service. Family asks that donations be made to Grayson Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
