Jerry Lykins 71 of Stanton husband of Phyllis Lykins passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the Clark Regional Medical Center. He was a retired Truck Driver and a farmer. He is survived by his wife. Phyllis Lykins, five sons Wayne Lykins and wife Janet of Mt. Sterling, Jason Lykins and wife Tabatha of Beattyville, Richard Lykins and wife Tonia of Mt. Sterling, Marcus Moore of Stanton, Brent Thompson of Ashland, four daughters Mist Gomez and husband Bartolo of Stanton, Donna Beltran and husband Juan of Stanton, Penny Neria and husband Juan of Stanton, Carlena Moore of Stanton, eighteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three sisters Judy Proctor of Stanton, Jo Ann Moorfield of Clay City and Phyllis Brooks of Irvine. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Edna Lykins, four brothers Charles "Hoppie" Lykins, Burt Wooten, Willie Maggard, John Huff, and a sister Ella Maggard. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Clay City with Bro. Jimmy Cole officiating. Friends may visit Tuesday from 11 AM till time of service. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
