Jimmy Barnett Sr. 61 of Frenchburg passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling. He was born September 27, 1962 in Campton to Herbert and Eunice Barnett. He is survived by his wife Marenda Barnett, a son Jimmy Dale Barnett JR (Heather), three daughters Tammy Baker (Chad), Belle Lykins (Bobby), Joyce Barnett, Nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, four brothers Johnny Wayne Barnett, Herbert Ray Barnett (Sheila), Clifford Barnett (Tonya), James Matthew Barnett (Margie), three sisters Norma Gail Shuler, Ila Marie Dennis (Larry) and Charity Louise Noriega (Alfredo). He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Clay City. Friends may visit Monday, May 20, 2024 from 5PM till 7PM. Burial will be in the Rose Cemetery. Family ask that in Lieu of flowers donations be made to Grayson Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
