Lula Mae Townsend 72 of East Adams Ridge Rd in Clay City passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 at her residence. She was a member of the Church on the Rock Church and a former employee of Cracker Barrel in Georgetown. She is survived by two sons Ernest Moore JR and his wife Donna of Oklahoma, Michael Townsend of Georgetown, daughter Caroletta Ann Beach and husband David of Georgetown, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two sisters Martha Gray and husband Orvel JR of Clay City and Marcella McCall of Clay City. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Edith Moon, five brothers Alvin Moon, Raymond Moon, Otis Moon, Glendon Moon, Bobby Moon and two sisters Lindon Burton and Airzela McKinney. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, September 4, 2017 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Clay City with Bro. Arnold Rose officiating. Friends may visit Sunday from 6 till 8 PM. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
