Michael Curtis 65 of Clay City passed away at his residence Friday, October 2, 2026. Mike was born in Irvine on May 14, 1961, to Ernest Curtis and Zana Smyth. Mike was a carpenter and an avid motorcycle lover. He is survived by his mother Zana Smyth, his wife Donna Curtis, six daughters Megan McCoy (Jesse), Kayla Curtis (Brad), Tessa Perry (Cody), Kassi Knox (Dustin), Moreka Farmer (Kevin), Kabrina Farmer (Josh), fifteen grandchildren, four brothers Ernest Curtis, Tony Emerson, Jon Curtis, JD Emerson, two sisters Connie Staker, Carol Myers Moser, best friends Mark Hawkins (Sherry) and Darrell Kennon (Heather). He was preceded in death by his dad Verlon Curtis, a brother Monty Myers and a sister Angela Glover. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Clay City with Bro. Jim Muncie officiating. Friend may visit Tuesday October 6 from 6 PM till 8 PM. Burial will be in the Hawkins. Family Cemetery in Clay City. Motorcycles are welcome to lead processions to the cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
