Michael V. Schaefer 79 of Clay City passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the Stanton Nursing Home He was born August 14, 1945, in Lexington to Frank and Helen Kincaid. He was a Concrete worker. He is survived by his wife Nina Schaefer, he has a son Michael Scott Schaefer, eight daughters Nina Land, Karen Cowell, Kathy Collins, Tammy Schaefer, Victoria Schaefer, Valerie Schaefer, Krystal Dees, Brittany Tate, twenty-one grandchildren, forty great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Monday, September 30, 2024, at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Clay City with Bro. Rob Boyd officiating. Friends may visit Monday from 10 AM till time of the service. Burial will be in the family Cemetery on Virden Ridge Rd. In Lieu of flowers family ask donations to made to Grayson Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of service.
