Rickey Allen Mayes 55 of Clay City passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Pikeville March 16, 1963 to Freddy and Carolyn May. He was a truck driver for Ryder. He is survived by his mother Carolyn May of Clay City, one daughter Layla May of Clay City, one brother Barry May and his wife Angela of Paintsville, two sisters Pamela May of South Dakota and Valerie McPeek of Pikeville. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Mayes, his father Freddy May, and a brother Freddy Jo May. A family service will be held at a later date. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge.
