Ruth Curtis Sweet 90 finished her journey home on Saturday, November 26, 2016 surrounded by love ones. She was the daughter of the Late Hebert and Mary Witt Willoughby. She was a homemaker and loved to read and sing about Jesus. She was a Sunday school teacher for 30 years. Ruth is survived by one daughter Kay Gilvin and her husband Buck, three granddaughters Karen Agee, Karla Reeves and her husband Don, Janette Mangold, two very special grandchildren Pam and Henry Doolin, three great - granddaughters, two great great granddaughters, three great great grandsons, two sister In-laws Ella Rae Willoughby, Mary Curtis Several nieces and nephews and her cat BB. She was preceded in death by husbands William Russell Curtis and Willie Sweet, daughter Phyllis Mangold, great granddaughter Jana Shay Stewart, Brother Willis Willoughby, Sister Jean Spencer and a very special ant Lucille Barnes. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Christian Assembly of God in Mt. Sterling. Friends may visit Tuesday from 11 AM till time of the service. Burial will be in the Machpelah Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home in Clay City is in charge of services.
