Teresa Shoemaker 65 of Ravenna passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, at the Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester. Teresa was born March 25, 1960, to Elmer and Mary Townsend. She is a retired farmer. She is survived by her husband William Grant Shoemaker, three sons Billy Shoemaker (Alicia), Elmer Shoemaker (Kaitlin), James Shoemaker (Brie), a daughter Teresa Tipton (Robbie), thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, five brothers Richard Townsend, Ronald Townsend, David Townsend, Jerry Townsend, Larry Townsend, two sisters Frieda Anderson and Debra Berryman. She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Mary Townsend, a grandson Eric Austin Tipton, two brothers Ernest and Randall Townsend, and two sisters Anna Patrick, and Geraldine Hall. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday September 4, 2025, at the Grayson Funeral Home in Clay City. Friends may visit Thursday from 12 PM till time of the service. Burial will follow in the Cobb Hill Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
