Thomas A. Powell born on February 7th, 1932 to Francis Marion Powell and Annie Warner Powell of Estill County passed away March 7, 2016 at Baptist Health in Lexington. He is survived by a son Dennis Powell (Linda) of Clay City, two daughters Patty Hall(David) of Clay City, Robin Moore of Winchester, and one daughter in law Linda Combs-Powell of Clay City, one brother JT Powell of Clay City, eleven grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Francis and Annie Powell, wife Reva Watson Powell, two sons Jimmy Dale Powell and Thomas Eugene Powell, two daughters Penny Denise Powell and Betty Jane Hall, and one great-granddaughter Talita Anderson, four brothers Owen Powell, Estill Powell, Cecil Powell, Raymond Powell, two sister's Marie Young and Mildred Collins. Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kim Rose officiating. Friends may visit Wednesday from 5 till 9 PM Burial will be in the Warner Cemetery in Irvine. Pallbearers are Brandon Powell, Kaleb Hall, Michael Powell, Richard Rogers, Joe Hall and Derrick Brooks. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Powell, Jerry Powell, Mathew Moore, David Hall, Bracken Powell, Jeremiah Rogers, Greg Ratliff, Jared Anderson and Joe Tremble. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
