Wanda Lou Brooks 72 of Mt. Sterling passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025, at her residence. She was born on March 1, 1953, in Frenchburg to Cecil and Dorthy Rowe. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons Michael Brooks (Sabrina), Douglas Brooks (Andrea), four daughters Paula Brooks (Jeff Havens), Lisa Vance, Rebecca Brooks, Crystal Vasquez (Elgar), 15grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, five brothers Beecher Rowe, Sherman Rowe, Odie Rowe, Jimmy Rowe, Milton Rowe, two sisters Lillie Martin and Debbie Rowe. She was preceded by her husband Paul Brooks, a daughter Donna Brooks, a grandson Dillan Shane Vance, a sister Della Rowe and a brother Cecil Rowe. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Clay City with Bro. Steve Creech officiating. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 12 PM till the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Brooks / Means Cemetery in Estill Co. Pallbearers are Brandon Havens, Jonathan Havens, Victo Vazquez, Nicholas Mendo, Brian Vazquez and Justin Brooks. In Lieu of flowers family ask donations be made to Grayson Funeral Home in Clay City to help with funeral expenses. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge.
