illiam "Bill" Knox 77 of Clay City husband of Bernadette Knox passed away at the Markey Cancer Center Saturday, May 30, 2015. He was retired the United States Navy, a member of the Our Lady of The Mountains Catholic Church and a member of the AM Vets. He is survived by his wife Bernadette Knox of Clay City, two sons William Knox Jr. of Clay City, Donald Knox and wife Geneva of Jeffersonville, two daughters Judith Ann Jones and husband Murrel of San Diego, CA, Donna Miller and husband of Clay City, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three brothers Syl Knox of Bowen, Daymon Knox of Clay City, Stanley Knox of Clay City, two sisters Maxine Brewer of Clay City and Lavern Robinson of Slade. He was preceded in death by his parents Elden and Dora Knox and one brother Orville Knox. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel with Father Al Fritsch officiating. Friends may visit Monday from 5 till 9 PM. Burial will be in the Donnie G. Randall Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Military Rites. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
